Vivi Boura

Vivi Boura is a physician-trained scientist specializing in pulmonology and thoracic oncology. She earned her M.D. from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, School of Medicine, and a Ph.D. in medicine from the University of Athens, where her research focused on biomarkers in lung cancer. She began her academic and clinical career at the University of Athens, serving as Senior Research Associate in the 3rd Department of Internal Medicine, Oncology Unit. During this time, she contributed to more than 70 Phase 2/3 oncology clinical trials, including multinational and investigator-initiated studies. In parallel, she held academic roles, teaching at the University of Athens and lecturing in postgraduate programs on thoracic malignancies.

In 2021, Vivi joined SOTIO in Switzerland as Medical Director. She advanced through senior clinical development roles before being appointed Deputy Chief Medical Officer, where she led pre-IND and IND submissions in the field of antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) and provided scientific and regulatory leadership in immunotherapies and ADC development.

Vivi has authored more than 40 peer-reviewed publications. In 2025, she was promoted to Chief Medical Officer.
